I used to think painting was about making something others would admire, a finished piece, a “pretty picture.”

But through the twists and turns of life, I’ve discovered something very different.

After the passing of my son, painting has taken on a whole new meaning.
It has become a place where I can express what words cannot hold, grief, love, memory, hope.
It has become a way to feel, to listen, to simply be with whatever is present.

What once felt like art on a canvas has become something deeper: a language of the heart and soul.
